André Hoffmann is a businessman committed to using business as a force for good, with a strong focus on sustainability and societal purpose. He is Vice Chairman of Roche Holding AG and a board member of Genentech Inc. Beyond his family business, he serves on the boards of SystemIQ and the World Economic Forum, and leads various philanthropic and sustainability initiatives, including InTent and Fondation Tour du Valat. He helped establish sustainability centers at INSEAD and the Graduate Institute in Geneva. André studied economics at St. Gallen and holds an MBA from INSEAD. His honors include the Chevalier Légion d'honneur and honorary doctorates from the Universities of Bourgogne and Exeter.
