THE NATURE CONSERVANCY

Margot Wood joined The Nature Conservancy in 2025 as Biodiversity Credits Program Director, where she leads the development of TNC's global biodiversity credits initiative. TNC's Biodiversity Credits Program operates at the intersection of science, policy and the private sector, directly supporting TNC's conservation strategies. Prior to joining TNC, Margot was a Senior Director at Conservation International on the Global Science team. In that role, she provided the scientific foundation needed to shape private sector actions and commitments related to nature and biodiversity.
