Robert Calcagno

Robert Calcagno is the CEO of the Oceanographic Institute, Prince Albert I

of Monaco Foundation, since 2009. In this role, he oversees the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and the Maison de l’Océan in Paris.

Previously, he served as Senior Advisor to the private office of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco before becoming the Principality's Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development from 2006 to 2009.

He is strongly committed to advancing ocean conservation, promoting scientific knowledge and public awareness, supporting sustainable ocean management, and fostering the development of a blue economy.

He is also the Chairman - Managing Director of the Société des Explorations de Monaco and a member of the Board of Directors of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
