Camille joined IAPB as Government Relations and Market Engagement Director in November 2025. This follows positions as Head of Natural Capital and Biodiversity at BNP Paribas Group, Finance Sector Engagement Lead with the UN Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, as well as leadership roles in sustainability advisory with financial institutions and capital project developers. Across his career, he has worked at the intersect of policymaking, business strategies, stakeholder engagement, and the assessment and management of environmental risks and impacts, together with opportunity development to generate positive environmental and socio-economic outcomes and enhance business, ecological and societal resilience.
Camille participated in the Governance Working Group of IAPB since its launch in 2023 and played an active role in the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). In addition to advising business leaders and investors on their sustainability strategies, he has spent ample time in the field coordinating environmental assessment teams, engaging with local communities and government authorities, working on the implementation of sustainability safeguards with project developers in the agricultural, mineral resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
